Bread and butter is our breakfast. Our day was idyllic. Warmth and extensive exposure to the sun have been qualities in short supply. Nature abounded. Sounds mounted in perfect concordance. Alone, looking up into trees to spot the encapsulation of life in the branches never would have occurred to me. ——— is always captivated by simple majesty. She renders me more simple and more complete. Across the lake, the shift was in equilibrium with the driven depths, creating an ethereal wobble of gossamer wisps. Across the lake, the shift was in equilibrium with the shift’s other moiety, those the driven depths, whose conjoined tumult caused pale strands to appear and evaporate. The bird call that took our attention, once we stopped, was similarly enshrined in noises more general. Geraniums took the wind into tuneful confidence. Cardinals navigated balustrades and stairwells of ballrooms everywhere, branch and trunk and roots the life sustaining life. To see this makes one believe all must enshrine an entity more perfect and giving, this the awe ascribed to one’s self when considering a lost youthful imminence, humanly flawed though it was, not more than folly, and yet ideal. Life’s course discerns harmonious facility to ensure this ideal will not in stone remain set.
