Submission Guidelines:
Song of the Broad-Axe Publications accepts manuscripts of novels, novellas, and collections of poetry and short works, in addition to submissions to our quarterly journal, The Rialto Books Review.
Song of the Broad-Axe Publications uses Biblish’s submission portal to handle all submissions.

We accept simultaneous submissions. If a work is accepted by another publication while also under our review, we ask that writers get in touch to inform us of the work’s placement elsewhere, so we can remove it from consideration.
We respond to submissions to The Rialto Books Review within three months.
Compensation:
We believe writers should be compensated fairly for their work.
Payment for long-form works is arranged on a case-by-case basis, with a full contract.
Prose writers whose works are accepted to The Rialto Books Review will receive $200 per story or essay.
Playwrights whose works are accepted to The Rialto Books Review will receive $150 per dramatic excerpt.
Poetry accepted to The Rialto Books Review is compensated based on length, with a minimum payment of $30 per poem.
