On Poetry and Performance: a lecture dealing with Shakespeare's methods and implementation -- At the Athenaeum Theatre Thursday, September 20th through Sunday, September 23rd

The play that was to be staged at the Athenaeum on these dates, RUSS, fell apart owing to logistical constraints the rehearsal process faced. Unable to get clemency on the contract, or to reschedule, this lecture has been devised to make the best of a miserable situation. Filmed renditions of some of the scenes being analyzed in this talk are in the works. The text of the lecture will be published in a future edition of The Rialto Books Review.
